Usually it is the same story. A cheap machine polish that burned an edge, a wash that put more swirls in than it took out, or a coating sold as permanent that gave up after one winter on the A40.
We would rather explain what a car actually needs and then do that properly. Sometimes that means talking someone out of a full correction because a decontamination wash and a good sealant will get them ninety per cent of the way there for a fifth of the price.
Marcus handles the wash stages, interiors and the mobile diary. Reece came from a bodyshop refinishing background, so anything involving a polisher, a paint gauge or a repaired panel goes through him.
How we got here
A slow build, on purpose.
Marcus starts weekend valeting from a van in Prestbury with twelve regulars.
First machine polisher and paint gauge bought. Correction work becomes the main earner.
Unit 7 at Bramble Court taken on. One bay, good lighting, a kettle.
Reece joins after six years in bodyshop refinishing. Apex Shield coatings launched.
Still two of us. Still one car in the bay at a time.
